ABOUT ME
Just a little bit crazy
— How it all began
Born in Naples in 1960 at the age of 12 he approaches the guitar as a self-taught. At about 17 he began with the first live experiences related to Hard Rock and gave guitar lessons.
In those years it is extremely difficult to find teachers specialized in modern guitar and in particular rock for which he continues his studies, like many musicians who live in the 70s in Naples, looking for with the help of LPs, cassettes and concerts of historical groups of this musical style (Deep Purple, Zappa, Iron Maiden etc…) to improve his instrumental and musical knowledge.
— The turning point
Educational VHS videos begin to arrive and thus also approaches other musical styles such as jazz and, above all, fusion. This leads him to study not only classical guitar but, in particular, jazz.
— What's Next
Collaborations are also born with various music schools and those as live session musician and in recording studio .
In the early 90’s he also became passionate about using the DAW and got to know the world of pop-style electronic music.
Precisely this, combined with the need to create something personal also at the level of arrangement as well as compositional, induce him to follows the courses of electronic music of the Naples conservatory studying with Maestro A. Di Scipio and then move on to the Benevento Conservatory concluding where he graduates with Maestro L. Turaccio.
He has also published a guitar manual with Wakepress editions entitled “Metodo di chitarra”
The motivation that drove me to put together these teaching notes did not arise from the presumption of having done something new, but rather from the need to have at hand, in a single text, all sorts of exercises.
Metodo di chitarra vol.1
At the same time he continues his teaching and guitarist activity collaborating in various pop bands but, also carrying out his own musical project in crossover style (in fact a cross between rock-electronic music and fusion with some classic references) by publishing, among other things, the CD:
